Since StrongArm’s inception in 2012, the company’s mission has been creating hardware products to make industrial workers’ lives safer, reduce injuries, while feel good wearing them. Under Petterson’s leadership, the company has grown to a team of 20 and include three product lines: the V22 ErgoSkeleton™, the FLx ErgoSkeleton™, and ErgoHug. Each product line focuses on providing real answers to solving distinctive workplace problems that are overlooked and/or unresolved.

The company’s latest innovation, the FUSE Safety Platform, leverages IoT sensors worn on the body to capture postural and environmental risks and send real-time risk assessment and actionable insights to the Industrial Athlete™ and the operations managers.

“Combined with our other products, FUSE can significantly reduce on-the-job injuries,” Petterson said of the IIoT platform. “Our ultimate goal is eliminating all preventable worksite injuries.”
