What is Haptic Feedback? (In 100 words or less)

What we mean when we talk about haptic feedback, and what it can do for you.

What Is Haptic Feedback?

“Haptic Feedback” defines the vibrational alerts that StrongArm’s Fuse and Flex sensors emit to Industrial Athletes to indicate a potential risk.

Inside of our safety wearables are advanced sensors programmed to detect risky situations, such as location-based hazards or a series of bad bends/fast twists/any other unsafe, repetitive, uncomfortable movement (demonstrated below).

These haptic alerts remind Athletes to improve their form or remove themselves from the situation.

Each buzz is also recorded and studied by the SafeWork System data analytics system to detect troubling trends and provide solutions, ranging from simple health and safety tips to operational risk engineering.
